Max Porter - Duck Extraordinaire

This Eumundi chef simply loves ducks and the recipes prepared during the class are tried and proven and come from Max’s heart.

Max has roasted thousands of ducks in his long career – about 8000 ducks to be more precise; he’s cooked 2000kg of confit, prepared almost 1000kg of duck liver pate, and washed it all down with 15,000 litres of duck stock.

Instead of driving Max quackers, his love affair with the duck has taken him all over, including for many years to his Thomas Street restaurant at Noosaville (which he sold three years ago), and more recently as guest chef to the Kin Kin Manor.
